Jenny
Jenny Grohmann Schiller is a Licensed Therapist and Spiritual Director. She has a love of exploring new places and bringing others into these experiences. She has been traveling as a pilgrim on many routes of the Way of St. James since 2013. Her love of travel has recently extended to the Isle of Iona, Argyll, Scotland where she feels most at home. Jenny is fluent in French, conversant in Spanish, and speaks the universal language of friendship, care, and compassion.
Pilgrim at Heart reflects the heartfelt joy in experiencing pilgrimage; journeying outside of our comfort zones and into novel places to find a sense of oneness with all people.
There are 3 categories of people who begin a voyage, each with their own expectations and positive experiences:
Tourists arrive with set expectations, check lists of what to see and do from guidebooks, take photos and come away with souvenirs of their trip.
Travelers arrive to experience a journey, record memories, and come away with a sense of satisfaction and completion.
Pilgrims arrive to fully engage with a spiritual journey, feel deeply impacted by their experience, have an impact on others, and come away leaving a part of themselves behind.
